Paperboy wants in Ever since the Mid-Missouri Outlaws captivated me with their performance in Wichita, Kan., against the Wild, I have tried to remain close with the team by covering as many of their games as I could or reading about them in the newspaper or just making conversation with the players at Total Fitness Gym.
Little did I know that I would soon be getting real close with the boys in black, real close. |

Rematch could turn into another classic The last time the Mid-Missouri Outlaws and Missouri Mustangs played, the game ended in dramatic fashion.
After the Mustangs had taken a 35-34 lead with six seconds left, the Outlaws got an extra chance to the score the game-winning touchdown. They received an extra play after time had expired because of a defensive penalty.
With the ball at the 25-yard line, the snap sailed over quarterback Kyle Middleton’s head and into his team’s own end zone. Middleton ran back and scooped up the ball, ran forward and threw across his body for the game-winning touchdown. |
