KCWJ 1030 AM to broadcast Missouri Mustangs @ Junction City Force
"Its a big game, our biggest game of the year" said Terry Winfree the owner of the Missouri Mustangs. Big games call for big measures and the whole Kansas City metro area and beyond will find that out when they tune to KCWJ 1030 AM "the light" at 2:45 this Saturday. The Missouri Mustangs travel to Junction City, KS to face the Junction City Force at Al Simpler Stadium at JCHS. |

This Saturday’s game is bound to be exciting as the Mustangs are playing against the Kansas Knights, a team that Mustangs Head Coach Maurice Dukes said is an “unknown” among teams in the league.

Mustangs 2011 Schedule
Excelsior Springs, MO – The Missouri Mustangs will be entering their 5th year as a member of the Central Plains Football League when the season kicks off in the spring of 2011. In early November, the Mustangs were given their schedule that will include 5 home games and 5 away games. The CPFL has added 7 teams to the league which brings the total of 12 teams for 2011. The league has been divided into 2 conferences and 2 divisions in each conference. |

Preview Semi-Final Playoff Matchup
It's not the grand scale of Mizzou vs. KU, nor does it necessarily match up to the weekly gridiron of a Friday night high school football game, but the Central Plains Football League semi-final playoff between the 8-0 Missouri Mustangs and the 4-5 Topeka Thunder is a matchup viewers will not want to miss. Both teams are coming off of wins, the Mustangs recently victorious in their last game of the season resulted in a first round bye, while the Thunder edged out the Kansas City Bulldogs last weekend, resulting in this matchup. |
